Support Our Mission

In April 2025 North Bay Honor Flight embarked on its Inaugural Honor Flight - flying 23 veterans and 23 guardians (volunteers who keep the veterans comfortable and safe during their Honor Tour) and six operational and medical personnel to Washington, D.C. to fulfill its mission that Northern California veterans see their service and war memorials and monuments, and receive the genuine Welcome Home they may never have experienced.

And now we want to do it again.

But we won't be able to get that bird in the air without generous and gracious donations from the community. While we receive no government funding, we know every dollar donated makes an impact on the lives of Northern California veterans. It helps cover the costs of flights, medical monitoring while in-flight, two-nights’ billeting in Washington, D.C., meals, buses, and other logistical aspects of the tour.

North Bay Honor Flight is supported solely by donations — from private individuals to large corporations — including Fall 2025 Honor Tour M:2 corporate sponsorship naming rights. You may donate the amount of your choice through this link: Make A Donation Please contact Board Treasurer, Shelly Perri, at [hidden]to make an In-Kind donation.

“My dad and I want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did to get North Bay Honor Flight Mission:One off the ground - literally and figuratively. It was truly a life-changing experience for both of us.

My dad was drafted right out of high school and stationed in one of the most dangerous areas of Vietnam. He’s rarely spoken about his time there - until now. Visiting the memorials in Washington, D.C. gave him a sense of closure he’s been searching for all these years. I had never seen my dad cry, until the moment we stepped off the plane to a crowd of cheering, clapping civilians. It was a moment of healing, pride, and long-overdue recognition.

During the trip, we shared stories, shed tears, and formed lifelong bonds with fellow veterans and guardians.

The work you’re doing is nothing short of incredible, and we are forever grateful. We are doing everything we can to help spread the word about North Bay Honor Flight to ensure many more missions follow.

Thank you, again, for everything. It was a true honor.”

North Bay Honor Flight is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations made may be tax deductible and we encourage you to consult with your tax professional regarding your specific situation.

We partner with a no-cost fundraising platform for nonprofits called Zeffy which doesn’t extend a lot of design license… Zeffy defaults to asking for an added percent from donors to help fund Zeffy but it is not required of donors.
When making a donation, to change the automatic default imposed by Zeffy, in the "Summary" area on the donation page where a drop down with a default percent appears, select "Other" and enter a 0, eliminating additional fees.
Zeffy will automatically send you a receipt for your donation.
